Finding Dory comes home tomorrow on a special combo pack

We all know Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) is a Blue Tang fish with a short-term memory problem. She helped Marlin (Albert Brooks) find Nemo in their last adventure. Now, fast forward one year from that time and they are all living together. In Finding Dory, Dory suddenly starts remembering her past and most importantly, her parents. She remembers “The Jewel of Morro Bay,” which is the Marine Life Institute where she was born, and decides she has to go to California to find her parents Charlie (Eugene Levy) and Jenny (Diane Keaton). Her new family, Marlin and Nemo (Hayden Rolence), accompanies her through the waters to California with the help of some old friends, Crush and Squirt.

An octopus named Hank (Ed O’Neill) becomes her accomplice, although initially he has ulterior motives. Dory then enlists the aid of her childhood friend, Destiny (Kaitlin Olson), a near-sighted whale shark, and Bailey (Ty Burrell), a beluga whale who feels he has a problem with his sonar skills. Meanwhile, Marlin and Nemo get help from a crazy loon named Becky who will also steal the hearts of viewers.

There are hours of bonus features on this combo pack including the short clip, “Piper,” that played in theaters prior to the feature film. It’s a fun little story of a young sandpiper who is afraid of the ocean. This little bird must learn to tame her fear in order to get food. It’s one of the cutest shorts from Pixar in a long time.

There are also “interviews” with some of the characters that discuss their relationship with Dory. Hank the octopus was a very complex character for the folks at Pixar.  This “reluctant super hero” required a lot of research by the animators and in the end they managed to come up with a realistic yet fun little fellow.

The music in the film is another bonus as well as the additional features that include a cute look at some computer mistakes, emojis, animated aquariums, and wackiness and fun with the characters.

The Combo Pack includes a Blu-ray, a DVD, an additional Blu-ray with bonus features, and Digital HD. Finding Dory is also available in a 3D Combo Pack.  Finding Dory has been a beloved film for all ages, along with Finding Nemo. The characters have been taken to the hearts of viewers young and old, making this a great family film.
